Indedign9/28/2023 ![]() Even if she hasn’t seen or done exactly what I’m asking, her breadth of knowledge is such that she can get us to the answer efficiently, and while doing so, I learn so many tricks and tips to add to my arsenal. What I’m really liking about Shirley is that she is flexible in helping me to learn things that are specific to my goals and needs. Interests: Art (especially computer-generated), photography, hiking, health and nutrition. As the information age shifted from print to web and mobile devices, I added cross-publishing and User Experience (UX) with emphasis on ePub. ![]() ![]() From there I have worked on specific projects such as catalog and book production. From 1997 to 2007 I worked for a software development company, traveling extensively teaching automation techniques and programming for the newspaper industry. As fate would have it, I became an early-adopter for using computers in the graphic arts and printing industry, and ended up teaching in the industry rather than in the classroom. My goal as a young student was to become a teacher. ![]()
